HPG Announces New Roles for Alex Symms and Nick Lateur

HPG, Braintree, MA., announced that Alex Symms will expand his director of sales role to cover all three of HPG’s West Coast brands: Evans, Handstands, and Origaudio. The move allows Nick Lateur to move into a new role: brand director of HPG.

Symms has been a sales leader in the promotional products industry for more than 20 years, and joined HPG in June to guide sales at Evans. After making a strong impression, HPG chief revenue officer Trina Bicknell had no doubt he’d be able to take on even more.

“We already knew Alex would be an excellent addition to the team, and he proved us right even faster than expected!” Bicknell said. “I’m excited to expand his influence even further within the HPG enterprise and consolidate our West Coast sales leadership for our customers.”

Lateur has been at HPG since the end of 2020, and served as director of sales. As one of the industry’s best-known social media influencers and content creators, it became clear to Nick that customers were starting to ask more about HPG more broadly, and a new opportunity for HPG was emerging.

“HPG is the fastest-growing supplier in the industry, with the top talent in the industry,” Lateur says. “We are constantly launching exciting new products and impactful sales tools like Storyboard+. The formula for success in promo is: Be top of mind, be easy to work with, and maintain strong human relationships. This new role, with the support of the HPG marketing team, will allow me to truly evangelize our brand, our superior products, our unique services, and our incredible people, all of which enable our customers to win more business.”
